I initially was searching for a Spanish tutor as I picked up bits and pieces of the Spanish language throughout school and work, and found it challenging to find a book or online program that was able to customize my studies. Aurora was able to assess my then current proficiency in Spanish and develop a lesson plan that focused on where there were gaps in my knowledge. Aurora’s ability to convey the material in a relatable way is unparalleled and provides for substantive classes and strong recall of the information taught therein. Based on my assessed proficiency in the language, my sessions are hosted in Spanish only, but when I am stuck, she is completely fluent in English and able to clarify anything I am having trouble understanding. Since starting classes with Aurora, I have seen great improvement in my Spanish. My wife’s family is Mexican and most of her family does not speak English. I have progressed from having to have my wife translate for me to now being fully proficient in conversations with my family. I am very pleased with the lessons with Aurora, she is a real professional and what is important, she is a native speaker! She easily explained the nuances of grammar, phonetics and translation. Having such a teacher, it was not difficult for me to overcome the barrier in colloquial speech, since Aurora knows many languages, including Italian. Classes were always held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, not only with books, but also with the use of additional material. I am very glad that I studied with Aurora. My first experience of learning Spanish online was not the best. The poor quality of the materials as well as the lack of didactic preparation of teachers effectively discouraged me from using this form of learning. It is not enough to speak a given language to be able to teach it effectively. I was convinced that there is no better method than classroom classes. Until I met Aurora. It's a completely different league. Perfectly prepared materials and topics from many areas of life. Interesting discussions and challenging exercises. Lots of energy and passion, and at the same time high efficiency in handling digital media, which is of great importance in this method of learning. I am learning Spanish with my wife. We achieve goals together, step by step. Aurora's lessons not only give us the opportunity to learn the language and practice it, but to take place in the most learner-friendly environment. We have full comfort: we do not waste time commuting, we learn at the pace that is most appropriate for us, we learn about the most interesting issues for us. Each lesson is individually prepared for us, and studying online and working individually with Aurora require much more commitment than group lessons. Her online lessons are more interesting and bring much more effects. We would never have achieved so much if it had not been for the regular work with Aurora - for us it is the best way to learn. Thanks to the classes with Aurora, I think I have notably improved my Spanish, especially the grammar.
